Element Set for Games in Maya

Creating Basic Shapes
I placed simple polys and then manipulate them into the shapes of the well using. Extrude, lofting, adding edge loops and etc.

So it took awhile but then I made the bricks.
Then I extracted them and Extruded them. I was running into many issues. Extra faces showing up causing many issues and then when I extruded them even when I had I checked to separate the faces it wasnt working I even had amanda come over and mess with it for awhile... dont hit extrude twice...
LOOK AT THE BACK WHY FACES WHY ARE YOU THERE!!!
(11:00pm 1/20/17)
I started over the next morning....  ugh this better work (9:40am 1/21/17)
ok got this far now i have to leave for work (9:55am 1/21/17)
Made the bricks ok lets hope it works this time... (2:51pm 1/21/17)
So Griffin helped me this time trying to extrude but even if I hind the inside faces the outside is not separated into the individual  bricks. So what I am going to do is go back and try to extract the inside faces first then try to separate the faces from there (3:19pm 1/21/17)
So that apparently doesnt work... ok i will try one more thing and then if it still doesnt work I have to move on... (3:27pm 1/21/17)

WHY?!?!?!
nope ok I have to move on... UGGHHH
(3:33pm 1/21/17)

Finalizing the Well Wall
The process is to chamfer the vertices and them move them to how you want. Extract the faces and Then add edge  loops to the bottom ones and extract those. Then extrude it up and out.
Then using the sculpted brush you make the bricks more shapely and realistic. (5:10pm 1/21/17)

You then do the same with the floor. and once finished with making the adjustments that I want then I freeze the high poly and match the Low poly with the high poly.

Creating Low Poly Trees
On the trees you move the vertices, make more edge loops and then extrude the faces to get the look that is needed. Remember to deleted the bottom one since they are not shown and not needed.

Then you add divisions and go in with the sculpting tool and make the adjustments that are wanted.
Then copy the object and past it over to the other side and then make the details that you want again.

Roof
Added thickness to the low poly then copied to make high poly and placed more segments into the high poly. Then deleted the bottom faces and matched the top faces with the low poly version.

Then by using extract and extrude I made the shingles more life like.

Adding the bar, bucket and support

the bar is added by simple extruding and beveling or by using the CV cure tool.  Also made the rope using a coil primitive and messing with it.

Then made the bucket using a cylinders extruding and manipulate it.

Matching low poly to high poly
Then it is time to go it a match everything up making sure you see just enough of the high poly. Just push around the vertices. Then go in a soften all of the normals.

Testing normal maps for the wall and the floor
Unwrapping and mapping the UVs

The set up of baking
WOOT WOOT
OMG IT LOOKS DECENT! I is happy
